About Us:
The Ejura Charity Foundation is a purpose-driven organization rooted in love, resilience, and a passion for empowering lives. Inspired by the legacies of my late parents, Alhaji Abdullahi Shaibu and Rekiya Ejura Abdullahi, our mission is to create a brighter, more equitable future for underserved communities.
My father, late Alhaji Abdullahi Shaibu, was deeply involved in community service and development. He was a Police Officer with the State Security Service of Nigeria and was assigned to the Presidency under former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. My mother, Rekiya Ejura Abdullahi, was a community builder who loved impacting children’s lives. She worked as a part-time teacher, children’s carer, and Youth advocate at Isa Memorial Islamic Academy, the same school I attended. She passed away on October 13th, 2010—my 13th birthday.
The Ejura Charity Foundation stands as a testament to their values of compassion, perseverance, and giving back.
